About SkunkLabs
SkunkLabs, founded on January 1, 2007, is an online news and weblog , delivering technology news, analysis and opinions on a wide ranging topics from gaming to AI and Robotics. Another core mission of SkunkLabs is profiling and reviewing new Internet products and companies. We will be profiling existing as well as red hot startup companies that are all set to make an impact on the way we compute and think about technology.
SkunkLabs comprises of three chief editors, Xer0, Ajit Gaddam and Alex Smith. All these three are part of another very popular student webblog AskStudent and bring their unique combination of in-depth reporting and editorial articles to highlight the most interesting startups, products and people in technology right now.

Xer0, a coffee addict and a green font on a black background fan. He is geeked out to the core and a brilliant systems engineer and physicist. Maybe his love for hacking and breaking systems came from his desire to know anything and everything he deals with. Xer0 remains the only anonymous member of the team , has a secret identity, which he is not at liberty to reveal. Xer0, while contributing on most of the sections, would be bringing in the leads and other insider information through his insider contacts within the Silicon Valley. As the senior editor, he is also responsible for leading SkunkLabs to execute on the vision of migrating towards a more social community and making sense of an ever-increasing overload of information. He is also responsible for maintaining AskStudent, a part of the SkunkLab group.

Ajit isĀ on board as primarily as our Security editor. He will also contribute in the coding, hacking and gaming sections at SkunkLabs besides reviewing the latest tech companies and their red hot products. Ajit is currently a Graduate Student in Computer Science at Florida Institute of Technology. His focus is mainly towards Computer Security with specialization in Cryptography and Network Security. We convinced him to join our team at the 2006 Black Hat Convention in Las Vegas where he won 7 out of 10 capture the flag contests in an advanced hacking/security class. Ajit loves his cars, wishes he could bring his dogs to school and loves anything technology and the New England Patriots.

Alex is currently a graduate student majoring in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon. Alex is focused on Robotics and in Machine Learning at CMU. Alex is responsible for coordinating development activities and figuring out how to implement Xero’s fanciful ideas. Alex would be contributing a lot in the Security and Hacking section besides code and gaming sections. He is an avid gamer and is a level 60 Paladin in WoW.
